Fly Fishing in the Inn River

The Engadine is one of the best fly-fishing areas in the Alpine region. A single license grants access to numerous streams and lakes. The Inn, the most renowned area, flows directly by the hotel and originates from the Upper Engadine lakes. This makes it clear and highly nutritious throughout the entire season, known for its rich insect hatches. If you wish, we'd be delighted to prepare your successful catch for dinner.

Thanks to its fantastic thermal conditions and the impressive mountain scenery, the Engadine, with the Bernina region and its 4,000-meter peak, Piz Bernina, is one of the most popular areas for gliding. Experience the breathtaking scenery from a bird's-eye perspective and take an unforgettable passenger glider flight. The private Samedan airport is just 5 minutes away from the hotel.

Olympia Bobsleigh Run St. Moritz-Celerina

Pure adrenaline - a guest ride in the world's only natural ice channel, the bobsleigh track of St. Moritz-Celerina, offers 75 seconds of excitement. The only requirement for participating in a guest ride in the four-person bobsleigh is a healthy heart. Weather permitting, guest rides are offered almost daily in the winter.

By the way, the German bobsleigh team has also stayed at Saluver ;)

Cross-Country Skiing

The Engadine is a paradise for cross-country skiers, offering spectacular cross-country skiing opportunities. Whether in the elegant classical style or the dynamic skating technique, you can experience Nordic skiing on the extensive network of up to 230 kilometers of trails. Add to that the unique landscape, excellent trail quality and unparalleled snow reliability. You'll find the right trail for every skill level and fitness level. And, by the way, it's just a 1-minute walk from Hotel Saluver to the ski trail.

In the sunniest village in the heart of the Upper Engadine, you'll find Hotel Saluver. As you head towards Samedan from the village centre, the hotel is located at the village's exit and is easily recognizable by the three flags on the roof. Upon arrival at the hotel, you'll be greeted primarily by familiar faces who have been a part of the Saluver family for years.
