Biggest Events in Engadine

What makes Engadine special isn't just its pristine nature, but also the world-class events and cultural highlights that take place in the region. Here's just a small selection of the biggest events happening this year in St. Moritz and the surrounding area.

08.12. – 10.12.2023

Audi FIS Ski World Cup

Every year, the best athletes compete in the Super-G at the Audi FIS Alpine Ski World Cup for women. The races in St. Moritz are a classic in the women's racing calendar and for good reason: Corviglia, with its ideal conditions, has already hosted the Alpine Ski World Championships five times (1934, 1948, 1974, 2003 and 2017).

A supporting program packed with DJs, live concerts, parties and award ceremonies round off the weekend. Spectators can already buy their tickets online

Amusements on the Lake

Icy fun on the frozen Lake St. Moritz. Experience freedom on skates - on the circular track, the pond field hockey field or the ice rink. Those who prefer a quieter pace can enjoy the walking paths across the lake. Cross-country skiing enthusiasts can enjoy a 4-kilometer trail across the ice. In addition to the wide range of offers, the annual top events also take place amidst the impressive backdrop of the frozen lake.

Local restaurateurs take care of visitors' physical well-being at their take-away stands.

Bob: BMW IBSF Weltcup

The world's only natural ice bobsleigh run - the Olympic Bob Run - runs from St. Moritz to Celerina. Every year, the largest snow cult track in the world is created here within three weeks. The 1,722-metre-long ice channel features 14 bends and 130 vertical meters at speeds of up to 135 km/h. During the BMW IBSF Bobsleigh, Skeleton & Para Sport World Cup, women and men compete for every hundredth of a second in the 2-man and 4-man bobsleigh and skeleton. The ice sports experience can be followed every day.
